Our South African Under-14 Boys and Girls teams are currently competing at the African Junior Teams’ Championship (AJTC) African Qualifying Event to the ITF World Junior Tennis 2026 taking place in Cairo, Egypt from 4–9 May 2026.

The teams are led by coaches Roxanne Clarke and Mitchell Deetlefs.
The girls are competing in a round-robin group against Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya and Botswana. South Africa’s girls kicked off their campaign on Tuesday against Tunisia, putting up a brave fight before narrowly going down 2-1. They return to action today against Morocco.
The boys competition features two groups, with South Africa drawn in Group A alongside Morocco and Cameroon. The boys team gets their campaign underway today against Cameroon.
We wish both teams the very best as they proudly represent South Africa on the continental stage.
