The TSA boys and girls u/14 teams shone on the penultimate day of the African Junior Team Championships, with wins over Morocco and hosts, Algeria, respectively.

Boys u/16 - Morocco bt SA 3-0
Girls u/14 - SA bt Algeria 3-0
Girls u/16 - Tunisia bt SA 2-1
 
The boys and girls u/14 teams and boys u/16 team go into the final day of competition all in medal contention.

Boys u/14 v Egypt
Girls u/14 v Kenya
Boys u/16 v Egypt
Girls u/16 v Kenya.
 

DAY THREE:

It was a solid day for team SA at the African Junior Team Championships in Algeria with three of the four TSA teams enjoying wins.

The performance of the day was almost certainly from the Girls u/14 team who beat clay court specialists, Morocco 2-1.

Thursday's results:

Boys u/14: SA 2 - Botswana 1
Boys u/16: SA 3 - Kenya 0
Girls u/14: SA 2 - Morocco 1
Girls u/16: Algeria 3 - SA 0

Friday promises to be the toughest day of the competition, so far, for all four of our teams:

Boys u/14 versus Morocco 
Girls u/14 versus Algeria
Boys u/16 versus Morocco
Girls u/16 versus Tunisia.

DAY TWO:

There were impressive performances from the South African u/16 boys & girls teams today at the African Junior Team Championships in Algeria.

The girls defeated Egypt 2-1, with the boys edging out Algeria 2-1. ‬

‪It wasn’t the best day at the office for the girls u/14 team who went down fighting to Egypt

Tuesday was a day of mixed results for the TSA teams - on the North African clay - at the African Junior Team Championships in Algeria.
 
There were narrow defeats for our boys and girls U16 teams, but wins for our boys and girls U14 teams.

However the round-robin nature of the event means there is still all to play for. On Wednesday our u/16 boys face Algeria, our u/16 and u/14 girls both face Egypt and our u/14 boys have a bye.
