TENNIS COACH – NATIONAL TENNIS INSTRUCTOR

Parkview Tennis Club is seeking to contract with an experienced and motivated Tennis South Africa (TSA) National Tennis Instructor or higher to enhance the Club’s value proposition to members.

Key Services:

  1. Deliver safe, inclusive and high-quality coaching programmes to junior and adult members.
  2. Enforce the Club’s policy that all coaching clients must be paid-up Club members
  3. Enforce any temporary suspension by the Club of a client’s coaching privileges including where membership fees are unpaid, facility charges remain outstanding, misconduct is alleged pending investigation, Club rules are materially breached, etc.
  4. Use best endeavours to promote all other interests of the Club
  5. Encourage league participation
  6. Assist in Club Championships
  7. Support programmes for historically disadvantaged individuals
  8. Work collaboratively with the existing coaching team

Unless prevented by ill health or other acceptable reasons, Coach will be available for at least 80 hours in each calendar month to carry out such Services for the Club to the satisfaction of the Club.

Requirements:

  • Current TSA registration: minimum requirement - National Tennis Instructor.
  • Advanced Instructor or Professional qualification will be an advantage.

  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for developing players and growing tennis at club level.
  • Safeguarding & First Aid compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
