Coach Certification Pathway

Tennis Coaches that want to register are required to complete the following:
- Min First Aid Level 1
- Submit Police Clearance Report
- Maintain min of 10 structured CPD points over a 3- year cycle (Requirement will change this
- Use the IOC Athlete Learning Gateway for Safeguarding Courseolympic.org/athlete365/library/athlete-learning-gateway/
- ITF Academy an online platform since 2019 http://www.itf-academy.com
Certification Pathway
South Africa have Silver Status recognition from the International Tennis Federation meaning TSA coach education meet the minimum criteria and are above the recommended contact hours. Tennis SA follow the ITF syllabi however adapted the courses to meet our needs.
